A tsunami of darkness is approaching the land. There are no armored soldiers fighting against the darkness. Our battle is not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places. As a result, Jesus is calling a large number of intercessors as soldiers to pray alongside Him in His army. Experienced intercessors are busy with their own needs, and newly called intercessors lack God’s armor. The newly called intercessors do not have a life of faith and dependence on God. They still not have experienced the power and life available in God’s word.
The word of God is a sharp double-edged sword. One side to expose the fake, while the other will reveal the truth. These new intercessors’ prayers are dull and lifeless because they have not experienced the power of God’s word. The intercessors lack the experience of God’s word changing their lives. They hear the word of God, but there is no change in their lives. God chose these infants, babes, and backslidden Christians to be the new intercessors. God is giving His life to these intercessors by opening the scriptures. God’s spirit is hovering over the lives of intercessors, encouraging them to read, meditate, and incorporate God’s word into their lives.
Jesus himself is teaching the intercessors to learn dependence on him by getting hold of scriptures. Get hold of scriptures until everything mentioned in them is fulfilled. Scriptures activate God’s power in the external world, creating a barrier against the enemy. Jesus instructs the intercessors to wield the swords of word of God to break, bind, advance through the darkness. The word of God has infinite power, but it is your ability to draw this power with the help of the Holy Spirit that makes the difference. The power from the word of God is infinite. You must draw this power as intercessors in order to stop the tsunami.
The intercessors are slowly being clothed with the complete armor of God through the scripture. The complete armor consists of shields, breastplates, helmet, and sword. The materials for the armor come from the lives we display like truth, salvation, righteousness, peace, and word of God. God is working on all of these areas in the lives of the intercessors. Is there truth in the inmost parts of your lives? Are you putting a breastplate of righteousness? Do you have a helmet of Salvation and a sword of the Spirit?
If any of these are missing, you will not have a complete armor of God. God will not allow you to go into battle without the complete armor of God. When you put on the complete armor, Jesus takes complete control over you and fights the battle through you against the darkness. You wear the armor; God will fight the battle.
You will be a soldier dressed in God’s armor. Jesus will completely fill you and use the armor to fight the battle. It is now the Lord’s battle. Jesus inside you using God’s armor will fight the battle. Jesus will completely take control of you and use God’s armor in God’s way and power. You put on the armor, and then Jesus takes full control of you and fights the battle. Our God is a God of angel armies. Our God knows when to use which weapon. When God enters a battle, it is always a victory for God.
Prepare to put on God’s complete armor as intercessors. Its time for battle against darkness. Jesus is prepared to train and equip you as His soldiers. Are you ready? You were called for such a time as this to enter the battle against this darkness.
As intercessors, do pray for the below points.
1) Draw power from the wells of scripture.
2) Meditate and experience the life changing power in the word of God.
3) Restore the standard of God’s word to God’s original standard.
4) God’s word to be formed and displayed in the lives of believers.
5) Ask God to equip you with the complete armor of God.
