Many times, it’s not the enemy that is stopping or blocking our blessings, but it is our negative words of doubt (about God’s faithfulness and promises), and confusion that are stopping or blocking God’s blessings and favor in our lives. The enemy whispers doubts into our lives and ensures that they settle like fog in our life, blocking our vision. Don’t let enemy’s doubts influence the words you say or speak in your situations.
In Proverbs 18:21, it is clearly mentioned Death and life are in the power of the tongue, And those who love it will eat its fruit. The words of faith we speak create life to our promises, open doors for God’s plans and bear fruit of God’s life, blessings and favour. Similarly, our words of doubt or confusion create death to our promises, close doors and stop us from receiving our blessings. Our words of doubt hinder God’s life from flowing and changing our lives. Our words have so much power that they can either open up or create pathways to our blessings or close them down. The negative words (words of doubt on God) we speak have become the ropes that have tied or imprisoned us like a prisoner for years. By the words we speak, we have the control over our future. Our words have the power to create life or death to our current situations and to enable a brighter future.
So many people are tied up and bound as a prisoner as a result of their own negative words of doubt about God. Every negative word is transformed into a single rope. When we tie ourselves with ropes of negative words as prisoners, God will not break the ropes made by the negative words; but we must by ourselves break the ropes of negative words. God will show us the signs of ropes of negative words, but we must act to break the ropes. Every negative word we have spoken has the potential to make us more spiritually handicapped. Sometimes we don’t speak negative words, but our actions or whispers from our heart speak or convey negative attitude regarding the situation.
Even those negative actions also need to be broken. Sometimes we accept a difficult situation as it won’t change and hence nullify God’s power to change the situation. Even that negative laziness must be broken. Today, we must apply the blood of Jesus and declare words of faith to break every negative word, action, or laziness that we have said or accepted over the last 30-40 years. Ask Holy Spirit to reveal every negative word, action, or laziness that you have uttered for last 30-40 years, and then start applying Jesus’ blood, breaking the negative word, and declaring a word of faith.
Imagine that you have spoken 1 lakh negative words in the last 40 years, and you have bound yourself with 1 lakh ropes. These many negative ropes have bound you like an Egyptian Mummy, handicapping your spiritual growth, stopped your spiritual growth and bringing you close to spiritual death. Consider how many believers have become spiritual mummies – spiritually handicapped in the churches. Every rope of negative word that has tied or bound us for years must be broken, and we must be set on the path of God’s blessings. Once you start this process of applying the blood of Jesus and declaring a word of faith to break every negative word, you will notice a positive radical change in your life – in your thinking, in your faith, and in your steps towards a better future filled with God’s promises. All of God’s promises in your life which were dead will come to life. When you utter words of faith, they have the potential to bring life to your dead situations and pave the way for a brighter future.
Our words of faith open the door for Jesus’ life to enter our situations, transforming our current situations and enabling a better future. The ropes of negative words have prevented us from envisioning a brighter future and embarking on a road of rapid spiritual growth. All years of spiritual stagnation will be replaced by years of enjoying God’s life, blessings and favour. The life of Jesus you will experience as a result of the words of faith you declare and apply. Even if situations appear to be going badly, make sure you speak only positive words of faith declaring over the situation. Positive words of faith will allow God to intervene in the situation. Don’t utter a negative word of doubt or confusion regarding the situation. Negative words can make the situation even worse. Over time, train yourself to speak only positive words of faith from the bottom of your heart. Don’t let negative words spoil or delay God’s grand plans for your life.
