And Joshua said, “By this you shall know that the living God is among you” – Joshua 3:10
What is the “By this” by which we will know that the living God is among us? Is it a miracle, healing, or financial breakthrough? Do we really need to have a “By this” to know that the living God is among us? Without having a “By this”, do we recognise and acknowledge that the living God is among us? Whether there is a “By this” or not, the living God is already among you. Allow the living God to be present in your life through you trials, difficulties and tribulations. He may be sleeping (as Jesus did in the boat during the storm) or silent without doing any miracle or healing, yet He is present in and among you.
Start living in a reality that the living God is among you, in your life through the words you speak, the prayers you pray, and the daily activities you perform. Don’t let your situations or troubles cause you to forget or ignore the fact that the living God is present among you. If there are many “By this,” start submitting all of these into hands of the living God. Is the living God present among you? Yes, 10000 times Yes, even if we don’t experience or recognise it due to your difficult situations.
