The Lord among His Hosts, or God in His dwelling place, tabernacle, or temple, takes a shape or a living form. In these places, God takes a visible, living shape like a man. We can have the privilege to see God’s face in these places. So the sons of Korah wrote about the blessedness of being in the house of God in Psalms 84. They discovered the secret that God can be seen in His dwelling palace, or tabernacle. So they were jealous of the sparrow or swallow because they could see God’s face every day. They longed to dwell in God’s house in order to see God’s face. The ability to see God’s face is the blessing for those who dwell in God’s tabernacle.
For a day in Your courts is better than a thousand, because seeing the face of Jesus in one day is more better than thousand elsewhere (without seeing Jesus’s face). There is so much Glory, wisdom, love, and holiness, etc seen in God’s face in His dwelling place for one day that it would take at least 1000 days to explain or describe about it. The amount of wisdom, love, Glory we see in God’s face in His dwelling place in a single day would take at least 1000 days to learn and describe it. To describe one day of seeing God’s face in His dwelling place, imagine it takes at least 1000 days. How many years would it take for you to describe if you spent a year beholding God’s face in His dwelling place?
The sons of Korah started their journey to see God’s face; did you start your own journey to see God’s face?
