Now a certain man was there who had an infirmity thirty-eight years. Just like this certain man, there are so many great multitude of sick people, blind, lame, and paralyzed waiting near the pools of Bethesda for many years. They had been waiting for years for their healing. They go to Bethesda every now and again when God moves. They know the pattern for healing and in this pattern a man is involved. This man must do an activity such as lifting the sick man to put him into the pool when the water is stirred up. The distance between the certain man and his healing is man’s help. When the Angel stirs the water, this certain sick man is looking or searching for a man to put him into the water.
Jesus dispelled the idea that man’s help is required and that you must be in pool of Bethesda (when Angel stirs the water) to receive your healing. Jesus healed this man without the need for human help or intervention. If you continue to rely on man’s help, such as prayer of healing evangelists or healing centers, you may be delaying your healing and wasting your years.
This certain man knows the pattern and recognizes the need for man’s help, but he is unaware that Healer God comes to heal him with or without him visiting any Bethesda. The healer God Jesus does not come when the water stirs or because it’s a place like Bethesda. Jesus comes to you only because He is unable to see you in that state of sickness for months or years near Bethesda or elsewhere. He is not constrained by the place or time to do a healing. Jesus comes because he loves you and does not want you to remain in that state of sickness any longer. Jesus is coming today to heal you. Hear his beautiful voice – Rise up and receive your healing.
