Recently we have seen a big earthquake in Turkey. God showed His anger but for a few seconds, and we could see the destruction and damage caused by it. The earthquake was followed by a harsh climate, making it challenging to rescue people. It was almost like an apocalypse. Because of the weather, those who escaped the quake with injuries had to live with untreated injuries for several days. Some people were trapped between the buildings without any rescue.
In the physical world, there is an earthquake. In the spiritual realm, there are many tremors caused by this earthquake. Lot of sleeping, lazy, lethargic Christians are awakened by the anger or wrath of God. God’s wrath destroyed cities and towns in a fraction of seconds. The Lord’s voice is heard these days which states that – Is it a time to build houses or accumulate wealth or blessings? rather, it is a time to build the Lord’s temple. This similar voice was heard during Zerubbabel’s time in Haggai 1:2-4, which states that it is time to build the Lord’s House. This is the time to build God’s dwelling place or temple in our hearts. This is the time to repent and prepare for the return of Christ. The time has come to start building your spiritual life.
God’s tremors are coming to set you on God’s path and will. These tremors will break your pride, break your secure walls of self, and bring you into God’s plan. The tremors will shake and remove all earthly dust. These tremors will shake everything on outside, including your jobs, finances, and surroundings. These tremors cannot shake your inward dwelling place for God in your heart. Don’t let external circumstances affect your relationship with God.
Start building the temple or dwelling place in your heart for God in accordance with God’s plan and will, with the help of the Holy Spirit. God was more eager to come the temple constructed by Solomon that God came down in a thick dark cloud on the first day in the inauguration service. God waited for 7 years for Solomon to build the temple according to God’s standards and designs. After it was completed and on the day of its opening, God appeared. Today, the same God is waiting for temples to be built in our hearts so that He can come and live eternally in them. The God who dwells in the heavens and the clouds desires to make you one of His dwelling places. God waited for Solomon to finish the temple for seven years. How long did we keep God waiting? Did you start building a dwelling place for God in your heart? Don’t keep God waiting? Dwelling places are places of God’s habitation rather than places of visitation. God comes to stay permanently in the dwelling place. God creates a home with man in the dwelling place. Do you want God’s visitation or God’s Habitation?
Perhaps the second coming of God is delayed because the dwelling place in our hearts has not yet been built. The dwelling place in our heart has a direct impact on God’s second coming. God’s people become a dwelling place or temple for God before the second coming. You cannot build God’s temple in your heart on your own. You will need the help of Holy Spirit to build God’s temple according to God’s design and standard. Did you start building a dwelling place in your heart or life? If not, seek the help of Holy Spirit in beginning to construct the dwelling place for God. If you’ve begun building the dwelling place, ask Holy Spirit to finish it as early as possible.
God is eagerly waiting to dwell in your newly built dwelling place. When we become God’s temples or dwelling places, we are prepared for second coming. The outside world will fade but prepare your inside world in your hearts to become God’s dwelling place where we can have an everlasting communion with God.
