By God’s grace, God showed a young man about the recent tragedy in the area where he lives. God took him to the location of that tragedy and he saw the death of some people and also he heard their first words or cries after they died. Most of the people, whether going to hell or heaven, have the following initial words after death.
1) Wasting time – Many people have cried that they have wasted their time praying for earthly blessings and favour when they should have spent that time getting to know God and His fullness.
2) Unprepared for Heaven – A majority of people were unprepared for heaven and eternity with Jesus.
3) Testimony – People’s flesh was giving a testimony or witness to their own wickedness, sins, and selfishness.
4) Using God and His mercy – Most people were regretting that they had used God and His mercy for lot of their personal blessings and favour. Instead of being thankful to God for sending His one and only son, they used God for their personal blessings and favour. We should be eternally grateful for the sacrifice of Jesus. Sometimes they even forced God to bless them financially.
5) Posture before Death – Some people who are prepared for heaven had a praising or worship posture. What is your posture at the moment of death? Is it praying posture, worship posture, or praising posture?
6) Adoration & Worship – Some people who were filled with continuous thanks, praise and adoration for Jesus, their first words after death were also continuous thanks, praise and adoration for Jesus.
7) Seeking Jesus – Some people who had a deep desire to seek the face of Jesus continued to do so after death until they reach heaven.
8) Some Saints in this tragedy, even when they are near death, they are praying for the lives of other unsaved individuals. This was a sweet and pleasing aroma to God. These saints have saved lot of unsaved people from hell.
9) Praying for others – Some people in this tragedy prayed for others more than for their own lives. These people received divine help quickly. In a tragedy, when you pray for others instead of you will save others along with you.
10) Repent Daily – One person was regretting that he had not realise the importance of repentance because of the latest preaching and sermons. He went to church and was involved in many activities, but he did not repent for his sins and did not understand the significance of repentance. He mentioned that – Even if you hear a repentance message every day that exposes your sins and corrects you, it will save you from hell. Don’t try to avoid or nullify God’s correction. God’s correction is one of the signs that you’re on the right track.
11) Prefer Repentance over vain crying – Many individuals were crying for help, but their sinful lives were stopping God’s intervention. Repentance, rather than vain crying, is the quickest way for God to save you in the event of a near-death experience.
12) An overemphasis on certain teachings such as Grace and love, as well as specific biblical patterns of prayer and worship, can also lead to hell. There should be a proper balance of Godly characteristics such as love, grace, fear of God, anger of God and so on.
13) Standing on the behalf of God and facing persecution in God’s plan will prepare you well for heaven.
14) Fake and False Preachers – Some people said that we need to be particularly cautious of preachers and prophets who proclaim only good aspects of God without providing a complete understanding of God. They deliver inspiring messages without condemning sin. They are more dangerous than Satan. They encourage pride and arrogance, which will lead you to destruction.
15) Too many prophecies about blessings – Prophecies of personal blessings or abundance will send a lot of people to hell. Blessings with a fear of God, a grateful and a thankful heart will save many people from hell.
16) Many people in this tragedy accepted Jesus as their Saviour, but their lives are filled with lot of sin and wickedness.
17) Hurting God – Our wilful sins hurt and displease God more.
18) Misunderstood the Gospel – Most people believe that Jesus came to redeem them and they later used Jesus to acquire more earthly blessings and favour. Jesus did not come only to save you, but also to lead you in the path of Christlikeness and knowledge of the Triune God.
These points were collated to help you to prepare for heaven and eternity with Jesus.
