I am my beloved’s, and my beloved is mine. Song of Solomon 6:3
Jesus is a jealous lover. He does not like when you talk greatly about a preacher or evangelist more than him. He does not like when you trust and rely on a preacher or person more than him. He does not like anyone interfering or receiving more praise and honour than Him in your relationship with him. He is zealous about his relationship with you. He becomes angry if you bring anyone else into your relationship, even if he is an evangelist or gifted preacher.
Even though he is a gifted preacher, if you talk more about him, he will get angry. All preachers and evangelists are merely vessels of God; if you talk and focus more about the vessels (work of the vessels) rather than the master Jesus, the master will be very angry. These days, preachers have fans. If you are a fan of preacher or talk greatly about a preacher, He is already very angry, which is bad for both you and the preacher. Your entire focus should be on Jesus.
See Jesus in a preacher, but do not make the preacher as Jesus. See the qualities of Jesus displayed in a preacher or prophet but don’t make a preacher equal to Jesus. Don’t let a preacher or prophet take the place of Jesus in your life. The Holy Spirit occasionally warns us that we should not talk greatly about a preacher more than Jesus. Jesus is the focus and centre of everything. Don’t let anyone come in the middle of your relationship with Jesus.
