We are in a season where all our worship is shifted (or focused) towards the lamb on the throne of God. Our entire attention or focus will be on Jesus sitting on the throne. As if Jesus is taking his rightful place on the throne and there will be great celebration, there will lot of new songs about this theme. People will be caught up with so many visions and dreams about Jesus as lamb on the throne. Everyone will be talking about the lamb on the throne, even the kids. Jesus on the throne will be the main topic of conversation in Christian circles. Jesus on the throne of God will be the main focus in every prayer meeting.
This is the season where the lamb on God’s throne is the centre of all of our worship. There will be lot of new songs about – Jesus assuming his rightful seat on the throne and there will be a huge celebration.
If we prepare our hearts, this season we will get a taste of living near the throne of God (live close to God’s throne). Heaven is preparing itself for the welcome celebration of the new monarch. Jesus will be the new ruler of cosmos (heaven and earth) and the only source of light and life in the cosmos. All the bodies that give light, such as the sun, will wane or vanish before Jesus, who will become the great, majestic, and magnificent light. Jesus will become a million times more radiant than all the bodies that emit light put together. Jesus will become the vast, magnificent, and majestic light, before which all the light-giving bodies like the sun will fade or disappear. The entire universe was not illuminated (there were some dark areas) when light-giving bodies were present; nevertheless, when Jesus shines, the entire universe is illuminated, and there is not a single area of darkness.
Seeing such a magnificent view of Jesus, where he becomes the source of light and life for the entire universe, is such a joyful moment. It’s a delight and joy for those people who long for him.
Jesus, the Lamb of God is about to take his rightful place on the throne of God and there will be a big celebration. As Jesus ascends the throne to sit with Father God, there is a great deal of celebration in heaven, much like when a new earthly monarch takes the throne and there is a lot of celebration.
It’s a season of ascension, where Jesus is being enthroned as the new ruler of heaven and earth. After the fall, the first major celebration of heaven was the Cross of Jesus Christ, and the second greatest celebration is the lamb of God (Jesus) is ascending the throne. As Jesus ascends (is about to sit on) to the throne of God and rule, we are living in the season of second and greatest celebration of heaven. Jesus is being crowned as the new ruler of heaven and earth during this time of ascension.
For heathen, it’s a season of destruction but for those who know Jesus, it’s a time of celebration where Jesus is taking his rightful place on the throne of God. End times for heathen, it’s time for worry and concern but for those who know Jesus, it’s a season of celebration, preparing to see Jesus and be part of his ascension to the throne.
All our focus and attention will be on Jesus on the throne. It’s too splendid and magnificent view for those who long and yearn for him. The price Jesus paid for the Cross is openly rewarded in heaven. There will be many new songs about Jesus’ ascension to the throne of God.
