Jesus and everything related to Him are eternal. Jesus’ parables, words, miracles, and Cross are eternal.
Being eternal means it has no time associated with it. Even though Jesus’s era was 2000 years ago, everything related to Jesus still remains fresh as if it happened today. John saw Jesus as a lamb that had been slain in Revelation 5:6. Jesus was crucified at the ending of the Gospels. But in Revelation, still the lamb appears to be slain.
The slain state – Jesus on the cross state is preserved from the end of Gospels to opening of the scrolls i.e., around 2000 years. Jesus on the Cross, the state will be preserved for next infinity years i.e. till Eternity future. To John, the sacrifice of Jesus on the cross seemed to have taken place that day in heaven. The freshness of Jesus sacrifice as it happened that original day was preserved for last 2000 years.
For the past 2000 years, the state of Jesus’ sacrifice—His going to the cross, His suffering on the cross, and His death—has been kept and applied to every day/second. Even though we were born more than 2000 years after Jesus was born, everything related to him has been maintained, and this state is applied to every day and permeates every aspect of our daily lives.
As this state is applied to every day, we can now see the same Jesus that the disciples saw, as well as walk, talk, and experience His healing touch and like Martha sit at His feet. God did not only provide Jesus to one generation 2000 years ago; he gave the same Jesus to our generation now also by applying the preserved state in every day/second of our Life.
Ask God to help you understand that Jesus, who manifested and walked among His people 2,000 years ago, is still present/real now. The well was there, just as it was for Hagar, but her eyes were not opened to see the well. Jesus is actually here and moving among us, yet we are not able to see Him. Plead with God to open your eyes to see Jesus.
A medicine, for instance, may be used for two years if its validity for use is two years. All things connected to Jesus, however, have a validity of infinite years, meaning they can be used till eternity (forever).
Man lives in a time zone/frame of growth. Over time, his stature or character develops. His development is linear, i.e., he gains wisdom and knowledge on an annual basis.
God lives in Eternity. He was from Eternity Past and exists after Eternity Future. He existed in both the Eternity past and the Eternity future.
Eternity is a state where there is no time. God lives in Eternity means God lives in a state of perfection in everything.
God is perfect in all His attributes (they are around 1000 attributes) like
God is perfect in Holiness – From the Eternity past to Eternity future He is perfect.
God is perfect in Love.
God is perfect in Mercy
There is no increase or decrease of God’s attributes or characters over time. For example – The state of God’s holiness is the same in Eternity past and Eternity future. God’s characters is constant throughout all of time, both now and in the future. There is no change in God’s nature at all.
Man lives in a time bound zone where he develops God’s nature and character over the period of 80 years -100 years in his earthly journey. During his time on earth, man might have acquired 1% – 2% of some of God’s characters.
God is perfect in all his attributes and characters. There are roughly a thousand characters of God. One percent to two percent of some of God’s characters are attained in our lifetimes. For example, on earth, we only reach 2 percent of what is required to be perfect in holiness; the other 98 percent must be developed. For the 1-2 percent, it took 80 years. For the remaining 98 percent, it would take easily another 1000 years. To develop all 1000 characters, it would easily take another 10000 years.
When we reach perfection in one attribute, we cross from time zone to eternity in that attribute. For example, when we reach perfection in Love, we cross from time zone to eternity in Love. For being perfect in love, we need to be perfect in mercy. Some attributes are dependent on each other. Once we reach perfection in all attributes and then we become the true sons of God.
Anything connected with God is eternal, which means God places this state in every day and even every second in our time zone.
This state is freshly happening today as it happened 2000 years back.
The Cross of Jesus, miracles of Jesus, etc is freshly happening now itself.
Jesus carrying the cross is happening now.
Jesus raising the dead person is happening now.
We still can draw life from these Jesus ‘miracles now also.
Like the Cross, which occurred 2000 years ago but when we meditate on it, we still feel refreshed and can deliver us from our sins.
Since God plants this state like carrying the Cross in our time zone every day and every second, so it becomes very fresh.
Any visitation/ encounter from God like Burning Bush, three angels visiting Abraham, etc. We can still draw life from this visitation of God.
Moses had a burning bush experience. We can still draw life from the same experience because anything associated with Jesus and God is Eternal.
Now, when we sin, the fact that state of Jesus was crucified is applied in our time zone shields us from God’s wrath and the consequences of sin.
Ask God to grant you the ability to draw life from the parables, words, miracles, and cross of Jesus and to expand your knowledge that Jesus is real now also.
