The best place in worship is a place of silence (or stillness) where you are falling short of words and are led into a state of silence, where your heart starts to speak with God. Where God is leading you into a state of silence, where you stop speaking with words and your heart starts speaking with God. Your hearts pour out before God – your true state – your weakness and how incapable (inability) you are to rightly worship him. Your heart might not sing a song, but with simple whispers that get easily connected to God. Place of silence is not a physical place.
In this silence, you might hear the footsteps of God like when he was walking in the garden of Eden. In this silence, Jesus becomes so real. This silence cannot be manufactured but God has to lead you. Many worshippers are unaware that there is a time during worship when everything becomes silent (place of silence) and the heart begins to communicate with God. On one side, you acknowledge the greatness of God, and on the other, you claim that your adoration and worship of such a magnificent God is unworthy (or insufficient). You say how unworthy is your praise and worship for such a great God.
It’s a place where you realize how inadequate your worship is in comparison to what God deserves. Have you ever had a moment during worship when you were at a loss for words and found yourself in a state of silence where your heart began to communicate with God? Have you ever felt your inability to rightly worship him, and your worship falls short of what God deserves? Have you ever felt that your worship of God is insufficient and that you are unable to properly adore him? If you have not experienced it, ask the help of Holy Spirit so that you can experience it.
