Here is a word of hope: no matter what is happening around you, always remember that God still sits on the throne, and nothing goes out of His sovereign control. However chaotic the world may appear, He has not lost His grip on a single detail, and He is still in complete control.
If you are wondering what God is doing, he is still orchestrating His plans. He is still working, still weaving His purposes together, and no crisis or calamity can turn them aside. Nothing in this world has the power to unravel or distort His plans. He is still Omnipotent and Sovereign.
Even the hardships and heartaches we face are also orchestrated for God’s plans. We may never fully grasp how He does it, but God can use even the bad things (or mistakes) and make them part of His plan. In fact, the closer we walk with Him, the more we realize how high His ways are above ours, and the more we come to rest in the truth that He is the one holding it all.
So do not lose heart when you look at the circumstances around you. God still sits on the throne, and nothing happens without his notice and permission. Even in seasons of turmoil, our God is still on the throne, and He is in complete control.
