The fallen mindset will make you to think (or believe) that God has to do something new in order to earn our praise, worship and adoration. It always expects God to do something new to earn or deserve our gratitude and worship. But in reality, God has already done so much on the Cross that he does not need to do something new to earn our praise. He has already done so much on the Cross, that to repay it will take millions of years.
To put it simply, for what Jesus has done on the Cross (he deserves so much praise and honor), that we don’t need any new miracle or blessing to worship and praise Jesus. Because of what Jesus has done on the Cross, worship and praise should overflow in our lives. We don’t need any new blessing or reason to praise and worship Jesus. Only the Cross (with or without a new miracle) should lead us to worship Jesus. The only thing that should inspire us to glorify Jesus is the Cross, whether or not there is a new miracle.
Are we thankful enough for what Jesus has done on the Cross? Is the Cross of Jesus one of the reasons we are worshipping Jesus. Because of the Cross, Jesus is highly revered and honored in heaven. Do we also reciprocate the same? Start praising and adoring Jesus for the price and sacrifice he did on the Cross.
